This is an original NOS COUPLING SOCKET AND CABLE ASSEMBLY Part Number A-6387. They were manufactured by the Warner Electric Brake Mfg. Co. of Beloit, Wis. on 1 July 1944, packaged in cardboard boxes and wrapped in cosmoline on 20 April 1945. They were crated twelve to a box and stored at the San Antonio Arsenal until 1946.
Each cable is tagged with the wire color codes. Every one of these assemblies is in perfect like just new old stock condition (NOS). They have never been exposed to water and the boxes and crates have never been opened since they were packaged.
This will be the finishing touch to the restoration of any WW II era trailer and any civilian trailer until the late 1950’s. This is the trailer socket that was used to plug into the rear of the Willys MB, the Ford GPW, the Willys CJ-2A, CJ-3A and all WWII era trucks and tractors.
Supplies are limited and we are offering these A-6387 COUPLING SOCKET AND CABLE ASSEMBLIES now at $225.00 each.
