This is another one of the jewels that are part of our 300 plus crates of World War II NOS parts that we have just acquired. These are resistor kits that were used on all US military vehicles of the time. They enable vehicles equipped with 12-volt electrical systems to connect to and tow vehicles and equipment having 6-volt systems.
Each kit includes a 12-volt to 6-volt resistor with tail and stop light terminals, two jumper cables, all of the required mounting hardware and the original SERVICE BULLETIN No. 767 from the Autocar Company of Ardmore, Pennsylvania dated January 1942.
