24-02 G COMPLETE HAND BRAKE ASSEMBLY

642776 HAND BRAKE ASSEMBLY, INTERNAL EXPANDING TYPE

This hand brake assembly is complete, fully assembled and ready to install. This assembly includes the hand brake backing plate with gasket and transfer case bearing cap bolt kit, a rebuilt hand brake drum with a new companion flange, oil seal, gasket and flange to drum bolt kit, a new hand brake shoe set with the two return springs, the two hand brake shoe adjusting screws and bracket, the hand brake cam lever and the operating lever link with the special nuts, washers and spring.

This hand brake assembly was used on the MB, GPW, M38, CJ-2A, CJ-3A, CJ-3B, CJ-5, CJ-6, FC-150, FC-170 and the Utility Wagons and Trucks.

The hand brake operating levers and cables are not included in this assembly. They are available elsewhere in this group.
