NOTE 1......HUG-LOCK type all metal self locking nuts are designed for one time use only! If you reuse this nut it may loosen and back off of the pinion shaft. The failure of this nut could cause the driveshaft to fall to the ground and could cause a sudden loss in control of the vehicle. This could result in serious personal injury or death. |

NOTE 2......Ring gear DRIVE SCREWS should never be reused! If you reuse a ring gear drive screw it could loosen and back out of its threaded hole causing severe damage to the axle gears and other components. This could result in the axle suddenly "locking up" and could cause a sudden loss in control of the vehicle. This could result in serious personal injury or death. |

NOTE 3......Ring gear drive screw LOCK STRAPS are designed for one time use only! The tabs on the lock straps are designed to be bent over the drive screw head one time only. If you reuse a lock strap the drive screw could loosen and back out of its threaded hole causing severe damage to the axle gears and other components. This could result in the axle suddenly "locking up" and could cause a sudden loss of control of the vehicle. This could result in serious personal injury or death. |
