TYPICAL CYLINDER REPAIR SLEEVE

A LITTLE ABOUT CYLINDER REPAIR SLEEVES

Sleeving a cylinder with a high quality cylinder repair sleeve is an accepted method used to repair a worn or damaged cylinder bore in an engine block.

Engine blocks that have been bored beyond limits, that have cracked or deeply scored cylinder walls are all repairable with a cylinder repair sleeve. All of our cylinder repair sleeves return the cylinder to a standard size bore for use with standard size pistons and rings.

Our cylinder repair sleeves are sold as a single cylinder repair sleeve kit so that you have the option to repair a single cylinder or refurbish the entire block with a full set of four or six kits.

Installing these cylinder repair sleeves is generally performed by a machine shop.
