|
These special washers with the correct bevel go in between the wheel nut and the wheel surface. They are used to protect the finish on your painted, powder coated or alloy wheels by allowing the wheel nut to properly seat and torque against the soft satin finish stainless steel washer rather than the wheel itself therefore preventing scratching and chipping of the wheel surface. They can be used to make wheels with worn lug holes useable again.
Never use impact wrench on your wheel nuts! The correct six point socket, a little elbow grease and quality torque wrench will save your wheels and maybe your life!

| WHEEL STUD INSTALLATION TOOL C-320 |
| |
|
Our C-320 wheel stud installation tool can be used for installing both left and right hand threaded wheel studs on your brake drums and wheel hubs.
Press out the old studs from your wheel hubs or drum to hub combinations and clean the surfaces where the hubs will contact the drums.
Place a new stud in position on the back side of the wheel hub or drum then slide the installation tool over the threaded portion of the stud. The tapered side of the tool will face outward. Use a new left or right hand threaded wheel nut and thread it onto the new wheel stud with the tapered side of the nut seating into the tapered side of the tool.
Tighten the wheel nut against the tool to pull the new stud into place. Use a criss cross pattern when installing the other studs to insure an even installation of the remaining studs into the drum or hub. An impact wrench will speed up the installation.
This tool can be used on both 3/4" and 13/16" left or right handed wheel nuts. One left hand thread and one right hand thread wheel nut are included with the tool.
